OmniFocus gets 2500 preorders in 5 days

November 21, 2007 • 30 sec read

This post is over ten years old. Chances are, I've learned enough to have advanced my thinking about some of this stuff.

OmniFocus, the upcoming Mac task-management app, has received $100k of pre-orders in the first 5 days ((Via Daring Fireball.)). Although the recurring revenue of web apps is appealing to a lot of new developers, this is a reminder that there’s a lot of money to be made from a good old native Mac app.
